Pickleball at Cross in Hand Tennis Club

At Cross in Hand Tennis Club we have recently adapted our singles hard court (Court 6) so it can be used for Pickleball.

Pickleball is a fast paced, exciting game played on a smaller court than tennis, with its own unique rules, requiring quick reactions and good hand eye co-ordination.  It is easy to pick up the basics, but the more you play the more skills you develop and the more tactical understanding you will acquire.  Usually played in the doubles format, this game can also be played one on one.

At Cross in Hand we offer a "Pickleball Only" membership which allows you use of court 6 and the chance to play Pickleball with other members, including at the club session, currently Sunday afternoons.  The club provides a set of paddles (bats) and balls to borrow if you are new to the game.

You can also book court 6 to use as a non member during daylight hours through our website.

You can find out more about the sport at https://www.pickleballengland.org/ or if you would like to know more about Pickleball at Cross in Hand please email crossinhandtennisclub@live.co.uk.
