Meet the Coaches
Dan Burgess (Head coach) Level 3
I first picked up a racket at the age of 14 at Greville Smyth tennis club and absolutely loved every second of it and very quickly fell in love with the sport. I went on to play regularly in the adult teams and play in county level tournaments.
I have over 14 years of coaching experience, working at multiple different venues, coaching a wide range of players. I first starting coaching at my first club Greville Smyth, helping out as an assistant coach in mini tennis sessions. I then moved onto Bishop Sutton where I would remain for 12 year as one of the clubs lead coaches. A passion of mine at Bishop Sutton was working with female players, increasing particpation and working with county and regional players. I also coached at Bristol university for over a year working on the general programme and working along side some of the performance players.
