Our previous Treasurer, Martin Johnson, first became Treasurer in 1978, yes – 1978, and served for 23 years to 2001.

He handed over the reins between 2002 and 2005 but was back in 2006, for another 17 years of remarkable service to our tennis club. Martin’s dedication to the financial stability of the club over so many years has given us the financial confidence to upgrade the clubhouse several times and to keep our courts in such excellent condition.

Not surprisingly, Martin has decided that he needs a break – thanks Martin – for your service and commitment to the DLTC cause. The committee expressed their appreciation and thanks to Martin for all he has done for the club over the years and presented him with a token of their appreciation for all the time he has given to DLTC. Happily, he’ll continue to serve as a member of the General Committee.
