Tennis coaching
Our tennis coaching team includes:
- Anthony Searle has been coaching locally for over 20 years full time, and is well known in Herts. He runs the group coaching sessions each week all year round, as well as offering private lessons. Anthony can be contacted on 01462 436297 or 07786 211905 or anthonysearle@hotmail.com.
- Steve Whelan has been coaching for 20 years running performance coaching programmes for juniors and adults. Steve runs a range of coaching courses at Dellcott on Wednesdays including junior coaching, and offers private tuition. Steve can be contacted on 07543 078 933 or info@mytenniscoaching.com.
- Anthony and Steve are supported by our Coaching Assistants and Tennis Leaders who help run the large group sessions.
Pickleball coaching
The pickleball coaching team includes:
- Nick Pomery discovered pickleball in 2018, having been involved with tennis and martial arts for over 30 years. He has won medals for his pickleball nationally in singles and doubles every year since. Nick is a level 2 IPTPA coach qualified to teach up to intermediate level. More importantly he has a passion for teaching pickleball, in groups or one to one, in a fun way so players can pick up the game as quickly as possible.
