Dowanhill LTC - Season 2025 Playing / Student / Junior Membership Subscriptions Due/Tennis Scotland Webinar
Welcome to the new tennis season - I hope everyone is doing well. We are continuing to improve the facilities in the clubhouse and will be focusing on plans for tidying up and making use of the back court and garden area of the grounds this year.
The annual subscriptions for 2025 are :-
Adults - £220
Students - £100
Juniors - £85
These small increases are the first we have made for some years and I hope you will agree they still represent tremendous value for a year’s tennis!
You can pay by Bank Transfer as always.
We are looking at the costs of using the ClubSpark payment processes to streamline and simplify the payment of fees - so watch this space for next season.
Subscriptions must be paid before using the courts and in any event by 10th February 2025. It would help me if you could confirm when you have made the payment and also any changes to your contact details. Please also let me know if you decide not to renew your membership. I can arrange to collect your club key from you in that event.
A reminder also that the GU Students use the courts between 1pm and 4pm each Friday (starts on 17th January and ends on 28th March).

Introduction
Dowanhill LTC is located at 27 Dowanside Rd, just off Byres Road in Glasgow's West End.
The club has 3 all weather floodlit artifical grass courts and is committed to offering tennis for everyone in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
New members are welcome whether you are new to tennis, returning to the game or a seasoned player. Bring along the family and take part in some of the events on offer or, if you are new to the club, join in with some of the social activities designed to get you playing and in touch with others.
We run a regular coaching session on Saturdays 12 noon till 1pm with our Head Coach Alan Liddell, all levels welcome but please do book with Alan in advance. We also have a social session for members on Thursday evenings usually 5:30pm till 7:30pm.
Dowanhill Lawn Tennis Club was formed at a meeting held at 3 Kingsgate Dowanhill on 21st December 1920. Mr Laurence Glen chaired the meeting and was elected as President. The membership was 60 Ladies and 60 Gentlemen.
