Subscriptions Overdue! Fun Doubles, Monday Social
2026 Subscriptions now overdue thanks to all who have squared up so far.
Alan has organised a fun doubles tournament open to all, a sign-up sheet has been up in the clubhouse for a while entries close this Saturday (morning). 14/03/26
We are trying to guage if there is an appetite for another Social session probably on a Monday evening. We will probably just use the existing Thursday WhatsApp group but it would be great if anyone wanted to take "ownership" of the Monday Social if it is a night that would suit you on a regular basis.
If the Doubles tournament is a success (pretty much a given as 18 people have signed up already!), we will look into starting a Box League/s.

Introduction
Dowanhill LTC is located at 27 Dowanside Rd, just off Byres Road in Glasgow's West End.
The club has 3 all weather floodlit artifical grass courts and is committed to offering tennis for everyone in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
New members are welcome whether you are new to tennis, returning to the game or a seasoned player. Bring along the family and take part in some of the events on offer or, if you are new to the club, join in with some of the social activities designed to get you playing and in touch with others.
We run a regular coaching session on Saturdays 12 noon till 1pm with our Head Coach Alan Liddell, all levels welcome but please do book with Alan in advance. We also have a social session for members on Thursday evenings usually 5:30pm till 7:30pm.
Dowanhill Lawn Tennis Club was formed at a meeting held at 3 Kingsgate Dowanhill on 21st December 1920. Mr Laurence Glen chaired the meeting and was elected as President. The membership was 60 Ladies and 60 Gentlemen.
2025 rates retained for 2026.
