Notes from the coach

LTA Youth Tennis Leaders is our exciting leadership programme for young people aged 11 to 18. The programme provides young people, whatever their tennis ability, with the opportunity to gain invaluable leadership skills both on and off court. Tennis leaders support coaches to deliver tennis sessions on court, and support the running of a venue or event. They are a role model to younger players helping make sure tennis is relevant, accessible, rewarding and enjoyable. The programme is an excellent way of helping young people into leadership opportunities across tennis, sport and beyond, whatever their interests. Upon completion the leader will get a certificate, branded LTA Youth Tennis Leaders t-shirt and become part of the successful leader reward programme where they will be encouraging to help out with the weekly lessons, camps and events.
