Welcome to Earlston LTC

Earlston Tennis Club

Earlston Tennis Club can be found in the centre of Earlston town next to the Old High School. Earlston is located in the heart of the Scottish Borders, 30 miles south of Edinburgh. Everyone is welcome to play and join in at Earlston Tennis Club.

Earlston Tennis Club was established in 1982 and has a history steeped in a real sense of community and voluntary effort. The current courts were built as part of a community led group which brought villagers and the local school together along with immense support from the local business people and local council who kindly donated time and material to create the facility. The club now boasts a healthy community with a predominance of juniors.

On 23rd September 2012, Earlston Tennis Club's brand new facilities were opened by Tennis Scotland President, Christine Windmill, at a fun-filled opening party. The club offers 2 all-weather floodlit doubles tennis courts with a designated kid's zone, hitting wall and fully equipped club accessible clubhouse.

Our aim is to further develop the junior section and to extend the adult membership through a new tennis facility. This new facility will allow us to attract more adult members and maintain our push towards being one of the top Border Clubs. The club has a strong coaching backbone with a LTA Licensed Coach delivering the weekly programme as well as training both young and adult coaches to supplement and strengthen the delivery of a substantial LTA guided coaching programme.
