Rules for Booking and Playing

1. The Court may be used all year round except in the event of ice or snow.

2. The Court must be pre-booked online.

3. The Court must not be booked more than 7 days in advance.

4. Play should start on the hour or half hour and end on the hour or half hour. If other players are waiting to come on to the court a game may be completed after the end of the hour period but not a SET.

5. The maximum period of use shall be 1 hour for singles and 2 hours for doubles games except:

   (A) when the next hour is not booked and in this event play may continue until the next booking or until the next players arrive.

  (B) during the peak months of May June and July when doubles games shall be for a maximum period 1 1⁄2 hours.

6. All players names must be entered in the online booking diary.

7. Guests and Non-members may use the court on payment of the hourly fee applicable.

8.  Approved footwear must be worn at all times (i.e. tennis shoes or flat soled non-marking trainers). Trainers with a walking shoe pattern or Astroturf nipples are particularly damaging to the surface and must not be used.

9.  Please ensure that the court is locked up when you leave.

10.  Anyone found abusing the court or using it for any recreation other than the playing of tennis may have their membership terminated immediately.

11. Please play within the rules of the game and conduct  yourselves accordingly. Be friendly to other members and offer to play doubles when the court is heavily booked.
