EGTS&RC Now Open for Tennis, Squash and Racketball

The Club is now open for tennis, both singles and doubles, and squash and racketball. Please see further guidance below. The bar will also be open, for outside table service only.

When playing tennis please comply with the following guidelines:

The Clubhouse will be open as before with a corridor through to access the courts, as well as the toilets and light meters only

Sanitise hands before and after play

Toilets only will be open, but not the changing rooms

It is a requirement that you pre-book your court with the names of everyone playing

Club sessions, there will be a member of the Tennis Committee on hand to record those attending

Volunteers will be closing the club at 9.00pm on weekdays and 8.00pm at the weekend. Please be ready to leave on time rather than asking the volunteers to hang around.

Our gazebo was destroyed in high winds so there is no outside shelter if it comes on to rain. We must not congregate in the Clubhouse so perhaps bring a brolly

We will be opening the bar as soon as guidelines allow. In the meantime, please do not bring your own drinks. Please follow the LTA guidelines and leave as soon as you have finished playing.

If a member tests positive for COVID-19 or anyone they have been in contact with then please phone Richard Newbatt on 07851 060570 or Jane Major on 07860 535996

When playing squash please comply with the following guidelines:

The courts can currently only be used by people in the same household for normal squash/RB matchplay, individuals for solo practice drills/fitness or one to one coaching

The Clubhouse will open as before with a corridor through to access the courts, as well as the toilets

You must book a court (court 1 & 2 only) through the booking system before play

Come changed and ready to play

Bring your own drinking water

Hand sanitising after touching door handles, light meters etc

If a member tests positive for COVID-19 or anyone they have been in contact with then please phone Richard Newbatt on 07851 060570 or Jane Major on 07860 535996
