Our first two matches in the Spring League has now been played and.... Well.... It Could have been better.

First match Away vs. Hamilton and our team consisted of Stuart Forbes, Duncan Forbes, Stevie Mitchell and Ian Campbell.

Facing the likes of Ian Cannon and John Jellema we found ourselves in a difficult position against the only team to defeat us last year in Division 2.

Stuart was the man to take a set from Andrew Lobban but, I'm afraid it ended there. 

Hamilton 6-0 East Kilbride

Our second match at Home vs. Whitecraigs was looking blue, including the sky. A day made for Tennis but, we couldn't soak up the sun's energy into our lack of match practice. 

Our team of Cameron Lang, Luke Quigley, Kevan Lyons and Connor Shepherd took all but, a set out of our opponents in a match worthy of the saying "closer than the score suggests".

In a post match interview, Kevan said: "my opponent found my weakness when he asked what my rating is. My response was 'I don't know'."
