Strathaven Tennis Club had its busiest year ever in 2024, both on and off the court.

Members approved the adoption of a new Club Constitution which sees the club rebranded as "Strathaven Community Tennis Club", allowing us to move forward with our with our applications for full Community Asset Transfer of the Sports Pavilion & playing surfaces along with our bid to be granted "Charitable Organisation" status.

New for 2025 - Club Coach, Trevor Forsythe.

Trevor has been working with us for a few weeks and is looking forward to expanding his coaching services.

Beginning on 29th April, he will be starting a block of 6 weeks:

6-7pm: Tennis Express - Suitable for beginners and returners to tennis.

7-8pm: Women's Training Hour - Suitable for improvers and intermediate players.

8-9pm: Men's Coaching Session - Suitable for improvers and intermediate players.

Pickleball is now up and running. Members have access to the portable equipment and, hopefully, in the springtime, we will create two new permanent courts on the space occupied by our old junior "Red-Ball" courts.

 A Pickleball tournament has been added to our Club Championship events for 2025.

Trevor will be leading our children's coaching sessions on Saturday afternoons.

West of Scotland League and Cup tennis returns at the end of March. Once again, we hope to enter a record number of teams and are always on the lookout for new players to join us.
