Strathaven Tennis Club had its busiest year ever in 2024, both on and off the court.

Members approved the adoption of a new Club Constitution which sees the club rebranded as "Strathaven Community Tennis Club", allowing us to move forward with our with our applications for full Community Asset Transfer of the Sports Pavilion & playing surfaces along with our bid to be granted "Charitable Organisation" status.

Pickleball is now up and running. Members have access to the portable equipment and, hopefully, in the springtime, we will create two new permanent courts on the space occupied by our old junior "Red-Ball" courts.

Pickleball tournaments may, depending on uptake, be added to our Club Championship events for 2025.

We are still hunting for a fully accredited, enthusiastic coach to help our club maximise its potential, but in the meantime, four of our members have been awarded their Level 1 coaching certificate.

We will continue to run our popular children's "Come & Play" sessions, beginning in the springtime.

West of Scotland League and Cup tennis returns at the end of March. Once again, we hope to enter a record number of teams and are always on the lookout for new players to join us.
