VMH Solicitors net partnership with East of Scotland Tennis

East of Scotland Tennis are delighted to announce that Edinburgh based legal firm, VMH Solicitors will become the title sponsor of the East of Scotland adult and junior leagues for 2020.

The league will be named ‘VMH Solicitors East of Scotland Tennis League’. The league, which was first established with a men’s league in 1905 and women’s in 1922 is open to men’s, women’s and junior tennis clubs from across the region which spreads from Kirkcaldy to Dunbar, and spans age groups from 6 – 70+. With 178 seniors teams and 135 junior teams competing,  it attracts beginners to seasoned players who have played to International and ITF standards.

Viki Mendelssohn, President of East of Scotland Tennis commented ‘ We are thrilled and grateful to have attracted such a well established business who has its brand roots in Edinburgh & Lothians. VMH Solicitors have invested in a community event, which lies at the heart of everything we do as a county. This support will help us to continue to promote Tennis to as wide an audience as possible and allow our leagues to flourish and attract new players to the sport.’

Kevin McLuskey, Director of VMH Solicitors said ‘We have been interested in getting involved in community sport for some time, and when we were offered the chance to get involved in Tennis, a sport which continues to grow in the area we felt it was too good an opportunity to miss. With over 10,000 tennis players currently playing in the Edinburgh area, a figure which continues to grow we recognise the great work that East are doing to promote and support local players of every standard. I may even be tempted onto the courts at some point!’.
