🎾 Our annual Club Championships took place over the weekend of 9 and 10 September 2023.

🥵 The unexpected heatwave nearly scuppered our plans but due to the excellent organisation skills of Neil, the matches went ahead without a hitch.

🥇A special mention goes to Bruce for completing the Grand Slam!

It was fantastic to see so many members, friends and family supporting our players👏

😀Alongside finals day, we also ran an Open Day to welcome new members. It was great to see so many young and older players have a go and we look forward to seeing many of you at the club again soon.

Thank you to our coach Paul Hobday for running the free coaching session and Patrick and Lindsey for hitting with our prospective members, many of whom have signed up to the coaching sessions that are starting this week.

Thank you to Neil for organising one of the best attended club championships in recent years, Chris and Hilary for overall organising and decision making, Carol for arranging the free raffle (thank you to Berkhamsted Sports for providing the tennis balls) and Sue Hill at Edlesborough Pavilion for providing the delicious refreshments.
