Wimbledon Opt-In

The Lite Membership of the LTA is FREE - Opting-In to the Wimbledon Draw is FREE

Dear members, 

A reminder that for Edlesborough Tennis Club to get the maximum number of Wimbledon tickets allocated from the LTA you need to ensure that everyone in your household that is a member of the tennis club join the LTA and ‘opt-in’ for the Wimbledon Ballot.

The more Club members that are members of the LTA and have ‘Opted-in’ for the Wimbledon Draw, the greater allocation of tickets we receive, which we then distribute through a Club Draw. 

Even if you’re not interested in going to Wimbledon this year, by joining and opting in you would help others in the club have a chance of attending this year. So please take a few moments to join the LTA and opt-in. The deadline for opting in is fast approaching as it’s the 23rd February.

The Lite membership is completely free if you are a member of Edlesborough Tennis Club and once you join you can then ‘Opt-in’ for the Wimbledon Draw. Remember, you can't be included in the club draw for Wimbledon tickets unless you have 'opted in'. Junior members (11-17 years) are eligible to enter our Club Draw too, although if they are under 16 they must be accompanied by an adult to Wimbledon should they be successful in the Club draw.

As an administrator for the Club Draw I can see that there are a number of families where not everyone has opted in – so it may be worth checking to maximise your chances.
