The following LTA accredited coaches at Elgin Tennis Club are qualified with current PVG checks and valid First Aid qualification.

Jack Macaulay LTA accredited Lebel 2 coach- adults, children, groups and individuals

Alan McConnell LTA accredited Level 2 coach - Adults, children, Youth Start, Youth Play

Zen McClure LTA accredited Level 2 coach - Audlts, Children, youth Start, youth play 

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being Accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe to practise standards, such as first aid and child protection training. An Accredited+ Coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.

Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally assessed training a coach has. Level 1 and 2 are coaching assistants with Level 5 being the highest available qualification. All accredited coaches  are committed to delivering tennis to people of all ages and from all backgrounds including disability, faith, gender identity, race, sex and sexual orientation.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Our coaches do provide one-to-one private lessons for member and non members. As a nonmember there is an charge of £3 payable to the club for the court.

The coaching team are self employed for their individual lessons, so charge their own rates within the clubs guidelines.  All individual coaching fees are payable to the coach direct. 

Level 1 coaching assistant hourly rates £10-15

Level 2 coaching assistant hourly rates £15-20

Level 3 coach hourly rates £20- 30
