Coaching
We have an exciting update on our coaching programme.
Ben Griffin is a Level 4 Coach and will be taking on where Andy Sutherland left off by providing coaching for our club. Initially he's offering the following sessions for juniors in the first week of this Easter holidays:
Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th March, FTC courts.
Mornings 9am - 11am.
Two sessions per morning:
1. 9am - 9.45am. Red (ages 4 - 7 years). £6 per session
2. 9.45am - 11am. Orange / Green (ages 8 - 12). £10 per session

Ben's Background:
Ben has been a full time tennis coach for 20 years now and is an LTA Level 4 Senior Club Coach. He began his coaching career in Somerset where he held the position of Deputy Head Coach of DC Tennis which was a coaching company with responsibilities across several clubs as well as involvement with the very sporty Millfield School. He then worked at the prestigious Blackheath Lawn Tennis Club, SE London, from 2006 - 2020 before moving to Gloucestershire where he started the role as Head Coach at Chalford Tennis Club in April 2021. He manages a team of coaches and assistants to help deliver the growing programme at Chalford. He also runs the (smaller) junior coaching programme at Cerney Lakes Tennis Club in South Cerney where he lives. He is working towards an increased and extended involvement in the not too distant future between 'Griffin Tennis' and Fairford Tennis Club.
