Farnham Common Tennis Club thrives on volunteers, friendly faces, and people who enjoy contributing to a shared space. From helping at events to joining social sessions, there are countless ways to get involved and feel connected.
💚 Why Tennis Is Good for Body and Mind
Regular physical activity is widely recognised as one of the most effective ways to support both physical and mental wellbeing. Tennis offers a unique combination of movement, focus, and social interaction that can help:
• Reduce stress and improve mood
• Boost energy levels and overall fitness
• Build confidence and resilience
• Strengthen social bonds and reduce feelings of isolation
Whether you’re looking to stay active, meet new people, or simply enjoy time outdoors, tennis provides a positive, uplifting environment that supports mental health as much as physical health.
