Court reopening with easing of lockdown

We are pleased to announce that following the governments amendments to the Coronavirus lockdown this week, we are reopening the tennis courts as of today Friday 15th May.

We have completed a risk assessment and have taken measures to protect our players.

These include:

  • Only opening one court initially
  • Implementing a new online court booking system to avoid too many people at the courts
  • Allowing only paid members to book courts – public access will be reviewed at a later date
  • Removing net adjustment handles
  • Removing the benches
  • Recommending gloves or hand sanitiser to be used to open/close the gate

Additionally the LTA have also published some guidance on how to stay as safe as possible while playing - those are attached here.

We are now opening our new season for members to join.  Therefore if you are interested, please see here for the membership pricing and to access the application form.

Its great that we can get back on the courts again, expand our range of exercise to stay healthy and we hope to welcome new & existing members back onto the courts.

Stay safe everyone!
