Fishbourne Tennis Club

Whether it’s on-court fun with family and friends, a club game, coaching class or league match, you will find that Fishbourne Tennis Club is the perfect place to fulfil your tennis ambitions. Formed in 1983 by a dedicated band of local tennis enthusiasts, Fishbourne Tennis Club today is a thriving club that welcomes juniors and adults of all ages and abilities.

Based at the Fishbourne Centre just two miles west of Chichester, the LTA-affiliated club has four all-weather courts, two hard surfaces and two Tiger Turf artificial grass courts. All four courts are floodlit, and we play all year round.

The club offers members doubles play in five turn-up-and-play club sessions a week, regular tournaments and social events plus the chance to play at nearby clubs in friendly matches and to represent Fishbourne in LTA league tournaments. Fishbourne Tennis Club is the home club of coaching specialists, Generation Tennis, which offers a range of classes for players of all abilities.

The club is open to non-members on a pay and play basis. The floodlit courts 3 and 4 are able to be booked by members of the public for play by the hour, with lights when needed between the hours of 4pm and 9pm. The booking of courts and floodlights by the public can only be done online;  just click Book in the menu bar and follow instructions.

Enquiries from new members are welcome. Please note that new members may be required to be “played in” before joining club sessions, and  may be asked to talk to Generation Tennis for coaching advice.

With plenty of free parking,  all the licensed facilities of the Fishbourne Centre available to members and an annual membership fee a fraction that of some clubs in the area, it’s game, set and match to Fishbourne – the friendly club on the coast where everyone can enjoy the game.
