Winter: A mens doubles team comprising two pairs is entered in the Hereford and Worcester Head Tennis Winter League. The team is competing in Division 10 during the 2025-2026 season. MIXED.  Contact Rachael Pike if you'd like to enquire about playing mixed league tennis

Summer: A mixed doubles team comprising two pairs is entered in the Hereford and Worcester Head Tennis Summer League. The team finished 5th out of nine teams in Division 8 during the 2025 summer season. This was a creditable performance as it was the team's debut season following a multi-year league absence. It also helped to bring the mens' and womens' sections closer together and provided a significantly higher standard of refreshments than the men were accustomed to!

Winter: A mixed doubles team comprising two pairs is entered in the Hereford and Worcester Head Tennis Winter League. The team is competing in Division 10 East during the 2025-2026 season, and has made an excellent start with 3 wins out of 3!

INTRA-CLUB TOURNAMENTS - competitions between Fladbury players

Mens Doubles: In 2025 this was run as two leagues during summer and autumn, with the top two pairs in each league progressing to the semi finals. The pairings were determined based on seedings as assessed by two experienced club members, the aim being that all matches should be competitive throughout the tournament. The final was won by Richard Martin and John Hayes who narrowly beat pre-match favourites Dave Broomhall and Keith Cunningham in a thriller! Congratulations and commiserations as appropriate...

Open Singles: In 2025/26 this is being run based on two divisions, with men and women both welcome to compete. This is the first time we have run the event in this format. Experience so far is that matches between the ladies and men are very competitive indeed!

Mixed Doubles: This will start in December and consists of four randomly drawn pairs who will compete against each other in a league format, the winner being the pair emerging at the top of the league after all matches are played. Let's go!
