Membership Renewal, online bookings and subscriptions

The club operate via online management system called ClubSpark.  This has now been running since April 2017 and you will receive an email inviting you to register and renew your membership through the ClubSpark website.
All subscriptions must now be made through the ClubSpark website where you simply select the category of membership (or memberships) you would like to purchase before proceeding through to a payment section. 

This system also offer a FREE online court booking service which makes it easy to book courts online for all members! You must be registered with ClubSpark to book a court. A  mobile app called ClubSpark Booker is available too.
New members will notice a secured tablet on the far wall in the clubroom which is for the purpose of booking a court and for that purpose only (i.e. no game playing kids please)!

Membership rates have stayed the same as last year. Subscriptions are due 1st April, and anyone who has not paid by 21st April will be considered no longer a member and will have their key fob deactivated.  Also attached is our Information Sheet for 2018 which will tell you all that you need to know about the club, please take time to read it through - also it may be useful to save it on your computer for future reference.

(Visitors are rerstricted to 3 visits per year, after which they are expected to  join the club).

Service Line has been asked to leave Court 3 free for use by members during Friday afterschool sessions.  Court booking is recommended during those times.

Club Knock-Out Tournament Summer 2018

Jerome has kindly agreed to run our knock out tournament again this year.  Further details and entry form will be emailed to members in due course.

Wimbledon Tickets

To enter our ballot, club members need to be members of British Tennis, with FRLTC as their affiliated club, and have opted in to the ballot on the LTA website, www.lta.org.uk.  The ballot will take place in the clubroom on Sunday 8 April at 11am.

Please note that only fully paid up members of FRLTC 24hrs before the ballot, who are also members of British Tennis and opted in to our ballot on the LTA website are eligible to enter our Wimbledon ticket draw.  

Anyone who has not yet joined British Tennis can register online at www.lta.org.uk/BritishTennisMembership.

Ball Machine

Please continue to take care in moving the ball machine, particularly in manoeuvring it onto and off the courts.  Can we also remind members that Juniors under 16 years of age are not permitted to use the ball machine unless fully accompanied by an adult. Cost per 1 hour session is £2.00.  A payment slip can be found on the windowsill, this must be completed and posted into the wall safe together with payment before taking the machine onto court.

Cleaning Rota

Chris Serjeant is currently managing the cleaning rota.  All adult members will be receiving a phone call or email from Chris a week prior to their turn on the rota.  If you find any of the cleaning products in the clubroom have run out, or there is a problem with any of the equipment, please could you notify Chris on 826666. Again we thank you all for your continued support in keeping the clubroom and courts in such good condition.

Tea & Coffee

Tea and coffee is available in the clubroom and is complimentary.

Events for 2018

Below is a list of events that have been organised so far for this year.  Any other events or activities throughout the year will be notified to members by email. The committee are always open to new ideas for social events, so if you have any suggestions or ideas, please contact any one of the committee and we will see if we can arrange it.

May to September   Club Knock Out Tournament, details to follow in separate email.

Sunday 8th July       American Tournament and BBQ.  

                                        All adults, students and juniors over 16 year of age welcome to enter the tournament.  A complimentary BBQ provided by the club will follow the tournament.  All members and their families welcome to come along to the BBQ.  Please bring a dish to share. 

                                        Tournament starts at 10am sharp. 

                                        BBQ will start at approximately 12.30 – the bar will be open. 

Friday 16th Nov       Annual Club Supper - venue to be confirmed and more details will follow.

Thursday 6th Dec    Festive Club Night - Floodlit club session with music, mulled wine and mince pies -  6pm start.
