LTA Online Safety & Communication Policy

The purpose of this policy is to:

Protect children involved in with our organisation and who make use of technology (such as mobile phones, tablets, games consoles and the internet).

Provide staff, coaches and volunteers with policy and procedure information regarding online safety and inform them how to respond to incidents

Ensure our organisation operates within the law regarding how we behave online

Frampton on Severn Tennis Club ('The Club') has adopted the LTA Online Safety and Communication Policy set out below.  However, the Policy is designed for Clubs that are mostly larger than ours, so the Policy should be read together with the following remarks :

1.     The Club has no staff, only self-employed Coaches and volunteers

2.     Our only Online presence is the Club website and our Facebook page.    The current Administrators for each are :

                     Website :          Jan Lloyd-Jones   (Web & Communications)

                     Facebook :       Joe Waters  (Head Coach)

3.    The Facebook page is not password protected because it is a closed group and no children are allowed to join by the Administrator

4.     The Coaches have to complete safeguarding training as part of their LTA Accreditation and this is ongoing.   

         The Welfare Officer has also completed safeguarding training.
