We extend our heartfelt thanks to the 20 players who joined us for the GLTC social tournament on Saturday, 15th June afternoon, despite dodging rain clouds! The event was filled with camaraderie and competitive spirit, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for all.

Complimentary cakes and tea were enjoyed by participants, adding to the positive mood of the day. Prizes were awarded to the successful players, celebrating their achievements on the court.

We were pleased to host Top Spin tennis at the event, providing players with the opportunity to test and purchase racquets. Their presence added to the enjoyment of the day.

In a tribute to Mike Boon, the President of GLTC who recently passed away, £100 was raised during the tournament. This sum will be donated to Mike's nominated charity, honouring his legacy and many contributions to our club over the decades.
