Following the Prime Minister’s announcement the council are now obliged to close the Tennis Courts until further notice. We will reopen the courts as soon as we are permitted and it is safe to do so.

No booking of village buildings during this period will be possible.

For questions on Coronavirus and what is and is not permitted, please visit

Please be aware that should there be any local spike in Coronavirus cases, or should government guidance change; the courts may be closed at short notice.

It has come to council notice that the courts are being used by people who have not booked. This is in breach of Trace and Trace requirements. If this persists the council may lock the courts and stop all play. Please act responsibly.

Gotherington Tennis Club provides both competition and sociable tennis catering for all level of players. We use two all-weather courts owned by Gotherington Parish Council. The courts are located in the heart of Gotherington village on Freemans Field at the North Eastern corner (bottom left) of the park.

If you wish to make a booking, select 'Court Bookings' from the menu and choose your prefered court and timeslot.

Please note all Tennis Coaching must be booked by the Coach and not by pupils.
