Jai Roy - Head Coach

LTA level 3 Accredited coach
BSc hons Mathematics with Management Studies (University College London) 

Our Head Coach, Jai, has over 25 years of coaching experience. He enjoys coaching all ages and standards but his real passion and specialist skills lie in developing Junior tournament players and high performance adult players aspiring to turn pro.

Along with our current GTC Junior group sessions, Jai coaches county players, nationally ranked Juniors and full-time players competing on the international ITF circuit. 

Over the years, Jai has helped 100s of children from our local community to participate tennis but one of his proudest achievements, are his years of work in developing a number of students that are now enjoying successful full-time coaching careers at some of the most prestigious tennis Clubs in the country. It is a joy to see them contributing back to British Tennis. 

Jai is a kind, conscientious tennis coach that loves passing on his knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for the sport to future generations of tennis players. 

"I joined the Greenford Tennis Club at the age of 11 and instantly fell in love with the game.... My main motivation is to help children, who wouldn't normally get the chance, to receive the right guidance, education, encouragement and support to achieve success in the sport in whatever form that may take...it's to give this new generation the type of quality coaching and structure that my brother and I would really have benefited from when we were growing up and aspiring to become tennis players...." - Jai
