Under the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA) and GDPR Gretna Tennis Club has a responsibility to inform you about the data that it collects, the reasons or purposes for collecting it, the way it will be used and who it will be shared with.

The Club collects and holds personal information about: -

Club members, the Committee and its’ members; others who assist and those offering their services to other clubs, e.g. the LTA-sponsored ClubSpark system. This information is used to facilitate administration of the club, its’ services and events. Member contact details are essential to the effective running of the club.

The information, (Name, Address, Telephone and/or Mobile Number, email address) is compiled electronically on secure computers and only available to some committee members. We do not pass on data to any third parties. Those members self-registered on the LTA-sponsored ClubSpark system will have received the necessary GDPR information via that website. ClubSpark is essential to the operation of the club website and our online booking system.

Whilst you are responsible for the accuracy of the data that you provide the service will ensure that it is: -

• Stored securely and destroyed when it is no longer required
• Accurate, relevant and fit for purpose.

You have the right to ask the club to stop using your data at any time. Please be aware that if you withdraw your consent, we will no longer be able to provide any services you have requested.
