I first started playing tennis aged 7 when my primary school put on weekly after school sessions. During secondary school I played occassionally in PE but when I left school I wanted to get back into playing and get active again to help with my recovery and rehabilition after my spinal operation in 2016, so I joined TBLTC in 2019. Aged 17 I took my first steps into coaching as an assistant coach helping former head coach Dave Wright with junior groups and camps at Theydon Bois LTC.I'm currently training as a Level 3 LTA Tennis coach and working at TBLTC running Junior Squads, Tennis Xpress beginners, Holiday camps, Events and tournaments plus captain of one of the Ladies teams & Junior teams.

One of my favourite parts of coaching juniors is seeing their journey from learning the game to competing at any level. I'm also a qualified LTA competition organiser and enjoy running regular tournaments and fun team challenges to get players into playing matches in a fun relaxed enviroment, including The Grand Slam Tour series of events at TBLTC that was named Essex tournament of the year 2025.
I'm also captain of the Theydon junior teams which has seen me introduce and guide juniors through understanding the rules and tactics of competitive play, alongside making sure they have fun and enjoy playing with the wins being an added bonus. I have recently also completed my LTA line umpire course and have also be selected by the LTA as one of their Youth Girls coach. 
I have also worked with some of the Essex county Squads and had the privilege to captain the 8u team on multiple occasions, plus been part of setting up and running an Essex development squad to get players into the game and competing from a young age to develop experience to hopefully join the county training squads.

Outside of tennis I'm a avid Pickleball player and have completed my coaching course in Pickleball, and I play regularly. I'm also a keen baker as meany at TBLTC will know already as at most events I've baked a themed cake ! I will rarely been seen without my headphones or music playing at the club as I love listening to music. 
 

I hope to see you on court whether that is to start your tennis journey, returning to the game after years away or to progress and improve ! But most importantly have fun while playing tennis.
