FAQ's
How does the Club manage my subscription?
The Club uses ClubSpark to manage its membership, an online platform endorsed and promoted by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).
How do I set up a ClubSpark account?
As part of the joining process or if the Club sends you a separate invitation to join.
How are my details held?
Your details are held on a secure database accessible only to the Club. They are not shared with third parties.
What if I join part-way through the year?
Our subscription year begins 1st April, but you can join at any time, and you will pay for only the remaining portion.
How do I sign up to a Family membership?
When you select the Family category, you will be able to add the other members of the family to the package. It's important to click you own name so you are also included in the package and not just as a 'Main Contact'.
How can I pay?
You can pay via Direct Debit, bank transfer or by cheque. Just select your preference in the joining process and you will be able to see the payment details for each option.
How does the Direct Debit option work?
We have partnered with GoCardless to allow people joining the Club to pay for their annual membership packages at the poing of signing up. You will need to enter your bank details during the sign-up process and the Direct Debit will be set up directly with your Bank. You will receive confirmation directly from GoCardless as well as confirmation from ClubSpark.
Can I pay by monthly instalments?
Paying by monthly instalments is available via Direct Debit for annual membership categories. If you are paying by instalments, you are still committing to paying for the full 12 months.
Key steps to processing renewal requests
An email is sent from ClubSpark to each member inviting them to renew (check junk folders).
Ensure you are signed out of Clubspark (if you already have an account).
Click on the 'Apply now and activate....' link in your renewal invitation email to go to Clubspark home page.
Sign in to the Clubspark account for the person you are about to renew for (or register if they are new to Clubspark).
Complete the GoCardless direct debit instructions or make a manual bank transfer, send a cheque.
Sign out of Clubspark before completing renewals for other family members.
Can I set up a direct debit for my partners renewal from my bank account?
Yes. On the Direct Debit Gocardless page that asks for your bank account details is automatically populated with the members name. But this can be changed manually before confirming.
All of my families renewals come to my email address. I've completed my renewal OK, but when I click on my son's renewal email it goes directly to my profile page - how do I get to his renewal?
Ensure you log out of Clubspark before clicking on you renewals for your other family members and sign in/register to their Clubspark account when you click on their renewal. It is possible to have multiple Clubspark accounts with the same email address. Just log out each time.
