The torrential rain stopped in time for Jen Allen, Sue Mercer, Joe Robson and Colin Mercer to travel to Tysoe for the Banbury League Division 4 match. Conditions were very challenging - a strong gusty wind and looking straight into a low bright sun from one end - yes it's winter tennis! Tysoe B won the Ladies' doubles and with the Men's being halved Harbury were left with plenty to do in the mixed doubles to avoid defeat. Jen and Colin halved theirs which required Sue and Joe to win both sets. They "did the business" winning a long tiebreaker first set followed by a more comfortable 6-3 second set for an overall 4-4 draw.
