It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of Margaret Ord. Margaret joined Hartlepool Tennis Club as a junior in the 1940s and for over 70 years she was a much loved member of our tennis family. Margaret was still playing tennis at the age of 81 and last visited the courts just a few weeks ago. She is a real loss to the Club and will be truly missed. Our thoughts and best wishes to her family and friends. Rest in peace, Margaret.
