Membership at Hartlepool Tennis Club

Hartlepool Tennis Club is a not-for-profit community club. The club is run by volunteers and is owned by its members. We have a range of membership packages to suit everyone. 

  • Junior and Minis/Tots memberships available with discounts on coaching for juniors of all ages.
  • Adults can use the facilities any time of the year with a full Senior/Young Adult/Student/Country or Family membership.
  • Just want to accompany your child(ren) to play at the club? You'll need our Parent/Guardian membership.

Liability

By joining the club you are becoming a member of Hartlepool Lawn Tennis Club Ltd. This is a company limited by guarantee. The liability of each member is limited to £1.00, being the amount that each member undertakes to contribute to the assets of the Company in the event of it being wound up while they are a member, or within one year after they cease to be a member, for:

  1. Payment of the Company's debts and liabilities contracted before they cease to be a member.
  2. payment of the costs, charges and expenses of winding up, and
  3. adjustment of the rights of the contributories among themselves.

Country 2020

Country members are those whose primary address is more than 15 miles from Hartlepool.

Eligibility: Country members are those whose primary address is more than 15 miles from Hartlepool. A country member must be 16 or over on 1st April 2020. Evidence may be required.

Family One members include one senior parent/guardian and their children aged 2 to 15.

Eligibility: Family One members include one senior parent/guardian and their children aged 2 to 15. Grandparents, uncles and aunts do not count as guardians unless they are the children's legal guardians. Evidence may be required.

Family Two 2020

Family Two members include both senior parents/guardians and their children aged 2 to 15.
