Haverfordwest Tennis Club was once again a finalist in the annual Sport Pembrokeshire Awards.
Club chairman Dean Richards, president Brian Hearne, secretary Anne Simper and treasurer Sue Jones were among a contingent of members who attended the ceremony at Folly Farm on Friday, November 24.
Haverfordwest did incredibly well to make two category shortlists in what was a record year of nominations, with almost 300 received.
They included the prestigious club of the year, alongside Pembroke Cricket Club and Tavernspite Short Mat Bowls Club.
Jeremy Cross was also in the top three of the male achievement of the year category.
He was in great company with Olympic-qualified sailor Micky Beckett and Moritz Neumann who recently competed in the World Crossfit Games.
Haverfordwest did not win either category, with Pembroke Cricket Club and Micky Beckett winners on the night, but it was still a great achievement with two more finalist trophies taking their place in The Parade clubhouse.
