Rupert Hannon has certainly been making a name for himself on the Welsh tennis circuit.

The talented 7-year-old has picked up two age grade titles in as many months.

He won his first Grade 5 tennis tournament at Newport Tennis Centre on 28 October, winning all five matches to be crowned boys Under 8 singles champion. 

Rupert repeated his heroics at the same venue on 19 November, being named the overall winner in the mixed Under 8 category.

Rupert's success is just reward for his commitment. As well as working with club coach Tom Richards, he travels to Swansea once a month for performance coaching as part of the South Wales Under 8 squad.
