We are a formally constituted club, set up to manage the three all-weather tennis courts on Longmead, Hemyock for the benefit of Members and the local community. We are not a profit making organisation; all the membership fees go to running the club, maintaining the courts and contributing to the upkeep of Longmead. As a result, the courts are in very good condition and all 3 are LED floodlit. We share the excellent pavilion and free car parking with the football club, and there is always a toilet available. We are members of the LTA, our British Tennis No. is Dev418
We are managed by a Committee of volunteers, with an Annual General Meeting and there is generally a member of the committee playing at each social session. We take part in local Leagues for those who want to play matches, and run occasional Social Events. Ad-hoc games between Members are organised through our WhatsApp group and courts can be booked through this website or the Booker app.

Adult Membership of the club entitles you to be eligible for the draw for Wimbledon tickets. (As long as you also become a Member of British Tennis, which is free, and 'Opt-In' to the draw).
We run Junior coaching events in the term time and usually all-day events for children in the holidays through our coach. We have a formal safeguarding system and officer, if you have any concerns at any time. Our coach Dan Sizer is LTA approved and DBS checked.

When the membership packages for 2026/2027 are visible below, please register on Clubspark as soon as you can ('Join now' below).
We take payment, as part of the registration process, through Clubspark's GoCardless payment facility. GoCardless will set up and process, on behalf of Hemyock Tennis Club, a one-off Direct Debit payment from your bank account.
