HEMYOCK COURTS REOPENING - 2nd DECEMBER

I’m very pleased to announce that in line with LTA guidelines, the tennis club is able to re-open the tennis courts on Wednesday 2nd December.  As well as private bookings, Club social sessions can resume as before; Saturday and Sunday mornings, and Thursday evenings. 

Please follow ‘track & trace’ protocols. Hemyock falls into tier 2 restrictions, and the LTA have kindly published a summary of permitted tennis related activities which I strongly advise members to read in conjunction with the general tier restrictions that apply to them. In summary; Singles & Doubles social play is permitted Coaching is permitted Group coaching is permitted (max group size 12 adults or 15 children) Competitions are permitted, singles or doubles Spectating minimised to rule of 6 Social distancing to be maintained before during and after play There should be no socialising before or after any tennis activity Please refrain from attending if showing any Covid symptoms. 

The LTA are awaiting for confirmation on some details from Government. If these additions materially change our playing restrictions you will be advised accordingly.
