On Sunday afternoon of 12th Oct 2025, a mammoth task was achieved by the hard work, commitment and enthusiasm of 13 volunteers. Amounting to over 50 hours of gardening work to clear the brambles and vegetation around the courts, the result is amazing. No more injuries for retrieving balls, clear views, new bench, new net and clean and tidy surroundings to enjoy your tennis.
On behalf of all members I would like to thank Julie, Nina, Jo, James, Damien, Art, Chris, Bob, Paul X 2 and Jerry for their outstanding work.
My very special thanks goes to Harry, our junior member who gave us strength in so many ways and for giving up his Sunday afternon to offer a helping hand. Much appreciated.
