Notes from the coach

This course is suitable for juniors between the ages of 4-9 looking to learn how to play tennis in a fun, inclusive and engaging environment. Our fully qualified and energetic team of coaches will teach all the fundamental skills for tennis including motor skills, hand-eye coordination as well as introducing technique. Technical skills will be taught by prioritising swing shapes for forehands, backhands, volleys and serve. We will also play lots of fun and accessible games that enable the juniors to build confidence and develop movement patterns and racket skills. By the end of the course they will have all the basic physical and technical skills needed to begin their journey into tennis. The sessions will be run by our Head Coach AND experienced coaching team to ensure each child gets enough help and encouragement in every session.
