This year's annual club BBQ and summer tournament on Sunday 21st July was well attended by members and guests.  On this occasion we were also very pleased and delighted to welcome a number of players from neighbouring Westbury Park tennis club to join our fun tournament.  A total of 34 players participated in three rounds of 21 point tie-breakers as part of a stage one.  After a series of eliminating rounds in stage two, the final match was between Alex and Young against Yuan and Steven, with the latter ending victorious after a very competitive, entertaining and sometimes amusing match. 

With the sun going down, the BBQ team took over and for the rest of the evening members were treated to an excellent and tasty array of salads, meat or vegetarian options and mouth-watering deserts.  A good time was had by all, and thanks was given to all those involved in organising, participating and making the day a great success.
