Henley Tennis Club

In 2024 the club launched a new range of adult social tennis ladders for men and ladies. Once you enrol, you will be given access to a mobile app for members to easily manage and administer the ladder scoring process.

Rules for Singles Ladders:

• The ladder places players in rank order based on their win/loss performance in agreed ladder singles matches
• You may issue 1 challenge(s) at a time to play another player in the ladder
• You can only be challenged by one player at any given time. This prevents outstanding challenges from accumulating against you
• You may challenge up to 3 spots (only) above you in the ladder ranking
• If the challenge is successful, you will take the spot of the person you challenge and your opponent will be bumped down 1 spot on the ladder

Rules for Doubles Ladders:

• The ladder places players in rank order based on their performance in agreed ladder doubles matches
• Ladder doubles matches can be proposed and played in any combination of 4 players
• Players are scored individually and ranked on the ladder based on points
• Each match participant will receive 2 points
• The match winner will receive 5 points
• Each set won will earn each player 1 point
• Going three sets will earn each player 2 points
• Winning in straight sets will earn a player 1 point
