Sunday 10th Febuary Hingham tennis is hosting a free taster session for the upcoming sport 'Pickleball'.  Pickleball is played on badmington size courts with paddles and a small whiffle ball. Its easy to start to play and suitable for all ages, although this initial taster session is for adults 16+.

It is played in the USA but relatively new to the UK. It is particularly suited to those who can no longer run the distances required for tennis as the court area is a lot smaller.

Free for Hingham tennis members and non members alike. Why not come and give it a try.  Paddles and balls will be supplied; just wear suitable shoes for the indoor courts (tennis shoes or running shoes/ non slip trainers). Pickleball coach Jeff from East Anglia Pickleball Development will be coming to give us some tips on how to play so its  great opportunity to try a new sport with the view to setting up regular sessions in Hingham.
