Holymoorside Tennis Club

Welcome to Tennis Holymoorside, situated two miles west of Chesterfield, in beautiful countryside surroundings on the edge of the village of Holymoorside.  The venue offers a quieter, more casual alternative to the town centre venues and is open to everyone.

The venue has three well maintained tarmac outdoor courts, kitchen and toilet facilities.

Down at the courts there is always a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome to all.  "Pay and play" is available for £5 per court per hour.  Courts can be booked on-line.

Alternatively why not consider annual membership?  For £80 a year (per adult) you will get open use of the courts and access to the booking system with nothing further to pay.  Membership for juniors (under 18's) is free!

There is regular morning social play every Tuesday and Sunday at 10am and Thursday afternoon at 2pm.  Coaching is also available.

For those looking for competitive tennis a mixed team is entered into the Chesterfield and District Summer and Winter Leagues.  Also a Summer Tournament is held with a trophy for the winner!

An additional bonus is the abundance of wildlife to be seen.  Buzzards, kestrels and kingfishers are all visitors to the area over and around the courts and river, as well as many other species of birdlife and animals.  This is the place to be for a relaxing and enjoyable game of tennis!
