The works to convert Courts 4&5 to an Artificial Clay surface  begin at the end of September 2024. They are expected to last about 6 weeks, and are on schedule. The prep work and tarmac under-surface is complete leaving just the carpet and infill to be done (the latter particularly requires good weather) followed by site tidy-up and handover. The re-instatement of the patio area will follow. The exact date of hand-over is yet to be determined.

Courts 4 and 5 have been blocked out for maintenance until Friday 8th November, reducing the number of courts available to book and for club play and matches. Captains are asked to avoid playing more than one match on the same day if possible and to try to start (or at least start warming up) earlier than usual. Weather delays may cause extension of the works and we will monitor this as they proceed.

The  Ballot to decide who gets to play on the new courts first is complete and an email sent to members.
