As you will appreciate, your Committee have been closely watching the advice from the Government and health officials during the current Coronavirus pandemic insofar as it might impact our members, our social events and our coaching programmes.

As was discussed at our recent AGM, we were going ahead with planning our Season Opening Adult Social, Easter Junior coaching, Season Junior coaching, Adult coaching programmes, the Wimbledon Ballot, and more in the coming weeks and months. 

Whilst Government officials have indicated that recreational exercise that takes place at a safe distance from others (defined by Public Health England as spending more than 15 minutes and within a 2-metre distance talking to someone) and in safe exercise environments is something can continue, your Committee has taken the difficult decision to suspend the organisation of all tennis coaching for both our Junior and Adult programmes for the time being, together with all organised social events. 

The courts remain open and available for you to use, making your own decisions about your health risk and that of your family with regard to the virus when using the courts.

Thank you for your understanding.  We will restart the programme of events as soon as the risk diminishes.
