On a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon 7 couples battled it out for the Bedford Cup.

The handicapping worked well and after the initial round robin where there was only 5 points differnce between the top and bottom couples, 2 couple were tied.

A nail-biting final was played which went to a tie breaker, Toby and Lexi eventually beating Sam and Rebekah 8-6.

Now when you consider that both girls were invited to make up the numbers, they both did really well to get to the finals ably supported by their partners.

As for us spectators, we had some good tennis to watch and plenty of tea and cakes, thank you Lyn.
