With the sun shining and not a cloud in the sky,  our Basil Mason finalists treated us to a very closely fought final today.  Played out in three sets, Trudy Newman and Alan Dovey narrowly beat Fran Talijan and Andy George  6-4, 4-6, 6-3 to raise the winner's cup.  Both pairs played great tennis, providing us with a couple of hours of top-class sporting entertainment.  Well done to all involved in this year's tournament.
