Access to Hythe LTC by car is off TWISS ROAD (there is no access from Stade Street). The speed limit along the towpath is 10mph and visitors are reminded to give way to pedestrians and cyclists

Established in 1889, Hythe Lawn Tennis Club (HLTC) is a friendly, inclusive community tennis club set in a beautiful location alongside the Royal Military Canal in Hythe, Kent. For over 125 years, we have been at the heart of local sport, offering both social and competitive tennis to players of all ages and abilities.
We are proud to be a family-friendly club where everyone—from complete beginners to experienced players—can enjoy the game in a supportive and welcoming environment.

At Hythe Lawn Tennis Club (HLTC), we provide excellent facilities and flexible access for all members:
🕖 Open daily: 7:00am – 10:00pm
🔐 Secure access with gate code issued to all members
📅 Online court booking (up to 2 weeks in advance) using the court booking tab above or the ClubSpark Booker App
🎾 1 court booking per day (max. 90 minutes)
✅ Practice fence available on Court 8
✅ Professional racket stringing service
✅ Slinger Ball Machine for hire. Available 1 April – 30 September. Full adult & student members only

⚠️ Court Safety Notice:
During summer months, hard courts (1–4) may feel slightly “sticky,” increasing the risk of tripping.
👉 Please wear flat-soled (multi-court) tennis shoes at all times
CCTV is in operation across the club for member safety and site security. Audio and images from the static cameras may be recorded
⚠️ Hythe LTC accepts no liability for loss, accident, or injury whilst on the premises. All individuals enter and use the facilities at their own risk.
