We welcome players of all ages and abilities to our small, friendly, community club.  It's a great way to have fun, get active and make friends.

"Our aim is to make Ifield Tennis Club a welcoming, inclusive club that will appeal to tennis enthusiasts of all ages and abilities and allow players to improve and thrive without pressure"

Don't be shy - give us a try!

Please get in touch with any questions or to arrange a taster session via our "Contact Us" page.

We have two, recently refurbished, hard courts within the grounds of  Ifield Community Centre which are open to members.  We have a small clubhouse with toilet facilities and parking is available at the Community Centre or local street parking.

Members meet regularly for organised club sessions on a Saturday morning at 10.00am all year (weather permitting) and  Wednesday evenings from 5.00pm when the clocks have changed to British Summer Time hours (April to September). Other sessions for play during the summer months can be prearranged with other club members.  From 1st October club members arrange extra sessions at weekends and during the week, during daylight hours (floodlights not available) via our members WhatsApp group.

Our club coach, Gareth Balch, runs "Tuesday Tennis" from 1.00 - 2.00pm which is an adult drop-in group for £10.00 for an hour of fun drills and play.  1:1 coaching can be arranged directly with Gareth, see his details on the Coaching tab to book a session.  These sessions are open to non-members.

We also have a ladies session during the day on a Wednesday during the winter months - a "Net & Natter" session! Please ask for details via the contact us form.

We have a fun organised play session for Juniors (ages 8 - 16) on a Saturday morning from 9.00 - 10.00am run by 3 DBS checked club members - please see the Junior tab for details.

"Rusty Rackets" is a friendly session for beginners or those who haven't played in a while.  A great way to see if tennis is for you. Contact us to arrange a session.

We would be delighted to welcome you to come and play.
