On 26th October we held a well-attended and successful quiz night, our first quiz evening for a few years, pre-covid. See photos on Events page.

The 18th annual pink charity American tournament took place on 13th October - a record-breaking day. More on the American events and the final 2024 leader board can be found in the Playing zone.

The club tournament finals took place on 15th September - details in the Playing Zone / Club Tournament, or here. A good day with a large number of spectators and numerous canine companions who enjoyed fine, dry weather.

Rob Miles won the 23/24 Singles Ladder - see the Playing Zone / Singles Ladder for details. The ladder is rolling on for 24/25, and new entrants are very welcome. Who can topple Rob?!

The Summer Leagues are just about concluded now - we had 6 teams competing in Chelmsford, Chelmsford Seniors & Brentwood Leagues - full & final results are awaited, but see Playing Zone / League Matches for latest news. Our mixed seniors are confirmed as champions for the 6th time in 9 years.

The Winter League - the SFWL - started in October. Details of fixtures here.

In July 2024 we acquired a new "pegboard" to assist in social play sessions, and an impressive set of honours boards - see photos on gallery page.

Do you or your family & friends want to learn to play tennis, or come back to the game? Then come and join us at Ingatestone & Fryerning Tennis Club (I&FTC). I&FTC is a friendly, inclusive, relaxed club in the heart of Ingatestone, with two floodlit artifical grass courts and one non-floodlit court (just upgraded to artifical grass on 1st October 2024), located at the rear of the Community Club.

Inclusive membership for players of any age and standard
Junior and Adult Coaching
Social play on Saturdays (2-4) Sundays (10-12 & 2-4) and on Tuesday evenings (6.m onwards), Thursday 12-2 pm plus women's social sessions on Monday afternoons (1:30-3:30) - (see Playing zone)
Holiday Tennis Camps throughout school holidays for all ages & abilities led by the coaching team - (see Coaching and Holiday Camp zones)
Free trials are available on request and we can offer free 'introductory' group lessons for juniors/adults

These pictures may be displayed (without names) on our website and social media platforms. We aim to abide by the information in our Photography and Filming Policy, which can be found on our website in the “club policies” section.
