Inverleith Park

Situated within Inverleith Park, 10 minutes bus ride from the city centre, there are four newly refurbished, all weather courts available for booking all year round. 

The courts were reopend in September 2023 after a substantial renovation, managed by the LTA, and funded by the City of Edinburgh Council, UK Government and LTA Tennis Foundation.  

Through the Parks Tennis Project, the LTA is delivering the biggest ever investment in parks tennis facilities across Britain, which has been used to transform the 13 courts across the capital, providing a significant boost to sporting facilities.

Free, social tennis sessions, every weekend, coming to a park court near you!

Each week you can sign up to a session at your local park court and play tennis for free.

No partner? No problem. Free Parks Tennis gives you the chance to meet new people, enjoy free exercise with a full body workout and practice your skills, all in just a one-hour session at the weekend.
